Close by the house runs a river where you can fish small trout or swim. There are several nice waterfalls close by. Hiking trails up the mountain starts just 200 m from the house. Centrally located with beautiful outdoor areas, right by the boat marina with swimming opportunities, park and playgrounds (beach vollyball and basket), musiums and grocery store. Hiking opportunities and public transport close by, 5-10 min bus to city center, 30 min walk. Bikes and rides for rent right outside the door.

The cabin is located at Krokeide in Fana, only 30 min. to the center of Bergen, and 15 min. to Lagunen, which is one of Norway's largest shopping centres. It is 15 min. to Bergen Airport.
