Revamped Minimalist Stone Country House

Nestled on the foot of mount Giouchtas, in the picturesque village of Archanes, our stone countryhouse is located in one of the most central and beautiful parts of the area. Archanes are 20 minutes away from the centre of Heraklion(15km), 15 minutes away from Heraklion's International airport, 15 minutes away from the famous Minoan palace of Knossos, as well as 20 minutes away from numerous beautiful beaches. Situated in the center of the most important wine-producing region of Crete, it has a 5000 years old history, while excavations conducted in the last 50 years have brought to light a lot of sites dating back to the Minoan period. The village is also very famous for its typical Cretan architecture. Most of the houses have been restored recently and Archanes has won the second award as “the best restored village in Europe”. The house enjoys a spacious interior and a private garden, which is protected by a peripheral wall. This is a typical characteristic of old Cretan houses of the area. Guests enter the private garden through the gate which then leads to the main building. I am always at the disposal of my guests, so that I can make their holiday problem-free. Furthermore, there is a free parking very close to the house. The country house is only 20’ away from the “Nikos Kazantzakis Airport” and the port. The archeological site of Knossos is 15’ away.

It is an independent ground floor house with private pool and is located on a fenced plot of 5 acres, in a very safe location. It is only 3 km from the city center and just 2 km from the famous Almyros beach. The view it offers is fantastic with the sea of ​​Mirabello Bay stretching in front of you. It is ideal to enjoy your vacation, all year round, come and live your dream !!!

Καινούριο σπίτι στο κέντρο της πόλης του Αγίου Νικολάου. Ευρύχωρο για 3 άτομα , με όλες τις ανέσεις για μια αξέχαστη διαμονή. Η πλατεία του Αγίου Νικολάου απέχει 2 λεπτά με τα πόδια και 1 λεπτό η παραλία. Δίπλα από το σπίτι υπάρχει οργανωμένο πάρκινγκ όπου μπορείτε να παρκάρετε με μικρό κόστος . Το σπίτι αποτελείτε από το κυρίως δωμάτιο που περιλαμβάνει την κουζίνα και το καθιστικό με έναν καναπέ που γίνεται κρεβάτι. Στο υπνοδωμάτιο υπάρχει διπλό κρεβάτι και κούνια για μωρό αν χρειαστεί.

Η VILLA SPILIO είναι ένα πέτρινο σπίτι χτισμένο σε ένα μικρό ακρωτήρι.Από κάθε σημείο του σπιτιού ο επισκέπτης μπορεί να απολαύσει το απέραντο γαλάζιο του Αιγαίου. Διαθέτει μεγάλο κρεβάτι και καναπέ-κρεβάτι και όλες τις απαραίτητες οικιακές συσκευές. Εξωτερικά έχει μεγάλη αυλή, με μπάρμπεκιου και ξυλόφουρνο. Τέλος, ο επισκέπτης μπορεί να απολαύσει το μπάνιο του στη θάλασσα με ησυχία αφού έχει ιδιωτική πρόσβαση στη θάλασσα και να χαλαρώσει στις ξαπλώστρες που διαθέτει το κατάλυμα.

The villa occupies 95 sqr metres and is located next to the sandy beach of Ammoudara (400m). The city of Agios Nikolaos is 5 minute car drive away. It is located within a garden full of lemon trees and olive groves overlooking the big blue.

Perfectly located in the adjoining field to the village of Myrsini, "Sotir Ali Stone House" is a beautiful stone built farmhouse that is perched among olive groves, overlooking the gulf of Mirabello. It is built on the exact same spot of an older lodging, a "magatze" as we call it here, that served our family during the olive's harvest. The name of the olive groves around the house is Sotirali and may be a corruption of the Turkish name "Sotir Αli".
