Our self contained open plan cabin offers a relaxing escape, with comfy beds, a full kitchen and spacious bathroom. The Cabin is only a short walk away to a secluded beach where mussels can be gathered, or you may be lucky and find a piece of greenstone. Soak in the outdoor hot tub, especially if you have done the Paparoa Track (pick up/drop off can be arranged at a competitive price, please enquire.) Snuggle up in front of the log burner fire in Winter. Continental Breakfast is included.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! A super cute and cosy 1930s cottage. Situated literally a stones throw from the beautiful Hokitika river and popular cycle trail. Only a mere 3 minutes stroll to witness Sunset Point's stunning sunsets! Soak up the picturesque views of the Southern Alps, Mount Cook and the untamed Hokitika beach. The CBD is a short 2 minutes walk where you can immerse yourself in local cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, craft galleries, copper, gold, glass and pounamu studios.

Franz Josef Gateway Cottage

This cottage is in newly built condition finished in January 2019. Ideally located in Whataroa township only 25 km north of Franz Josef township. We recommend bringing your own food for cooking as Whataroa has limited eating options however there’s several restaurants available only 25 min drive into Franz Josef. Hosts also operate a Helicopter Glacier flight business and offer special rates for guests. This exceptional cottage is the perfect holiday escape in a relaxing, quiet rural town.

With no TV or Wi-Fi, it’s perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature. Featuring a large fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, and a rustic vibe, it’s close to ski fields, biking trails, and scenic walks. Two upstairs bedrooms (single beds) and a downstairs double room make it ideal for families or small groups. Note: not ideal for toddlers.

This house sits opposite the Tasman Sea with stunning views over the ocean and south to New Zealand's highest peak - Mount Cook. The views are stunning often with beautiful sunsets. We are a 5 mins drive to Greymouth and it is 1 km neat to the start of the Point Elizabeth scenic bush walk. This is a great bush walk mainly sheltered with good native bush cover. The main bedroom has great sea views and an ensuite. Plenty of parking space is available behind the house.

In winter, ski Porters or one of the many club fields, in Summer, hike or mountain bike one of the many epic trails in Craigieburn. It’s a special spot! Please note that there are no grocery stores or shops. Bring what you need with you.
