The Cottage in East Poultney

The Cottage is located in historic East Poultney next to the old Poultney schoolhouse (now historical society). Just over 1 mile to the town of Poultney. The sidewalk starts (or ends how you look at it) in front of the cottage which leads to town. Great for a walk or bike ride. Pico, Killington and Bromley Mountains all less than an hour drive. Plentiful fishing and boating opportunities. 3 miles to Lake St Catherine, under 10 miles to Lake Bomoseen. Slate Valley bike trails surround the area.

Huge old pine trees and mowed fields create space and privacy between the two. With this rental comes the use of 4 kayaks, a grill, walking poles, and a huge porch excellent for watching for bear or moose! Big windows throughout the house let in lots light. It is 4-season, so it offers summer and winter fun. It's mere steps from the lake, so grab a kayak, canoe or raft and enjoy the water. We offer the use of three kayaks and a canoe. There is a great fire pit right off the deck for smores and in the winter, access to 5 ski areas less than hour away!

You can also enjoy a very scenic game of golf at the Lake St. Catherine Country club, just 1.5 miles down the road.
