This is an experience. First time introduction to pottery throwing with the pottery wheel and clay. Learn to use the pottery wheel, center clay and make a bowl, cup or plate. Students will be given two hours to play with clay. We will learn how to use a pottery wheel to make a bowl and cup. Then pick a piece of pottery out of the gallery made by your host LeRoy Grubbs to take home. You are welcome to bring refreshments and drinks. BYOB. Call or Msg for last minute bookings, it is possible... We can do morning class at 10:00am, and afternoon class at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00pm.

We will walk through - an overview of the candle and/or soap-making, scent formulation, and essential candle and/or soap-making steps, as well as share tips, tricks, and troubleshooting. We also welcome curious learners who would like to learn about candle and soap making in this event - no skills required. Your guide will provide you with Howdy H-Town’s Ultimate Guide to Houston- A curated list of things to do, where to eat and drink so you can continue exploring Houston like a local after the tour.

Get ready to experience Houston in the most unique way ever! I will take you to amazing Photoshoot spots in the Houston area, some beautifully hidden to local favorites. I will provide you with 15-25 professionally edited digital images and a Polaroid. This experience will last 1-2.5 hours. This tour is offered in groups so that you may be able to meet and be able to experience it with others! That way you can build relationships with people interested in Houston just like you. Although you have the option to book a private session with you and up to 10 guests. You are more than welcome to bring a pet or anything to add your unique personality to your photos. Also remember to have your phone charged and keep in mind we will be walking around the location if you’d like to bring and extra pair of comfy shoes!

At the Candle Bar, you will have the opportunity to learn a new skill and create 2 unique one-of-a-kind candles. Come pull up a chair and we'll serve you a drink of your choice (red or white wine, or a local beer). Take in the beautiful aesthetics of the store and make something special for someone special...or simply just yourself. Here you can take a piece of Houston back home with you. We'll start off by teaching you the process behind making your own personal candle and the science behind building a fragrance. Then we'll walk you through building your own fragrance. Once we've completed that, we will guide you through making and pouring your own candle. While the candle is drying, feel free to shop at Forth & Nomad, or relax on our beautiful, wooden patio under our historic oak trees. Please allow up to 3 hours for your candles to dry before taking them home. You can also pick up your candles at another time. We can host up to 8 people per class. Each ticket buys 1 person one seat. We cannot split candles between two people. Still wondering what Goat Yoga is??? Well it’s Yoga with Goats, silly! It’s a fun interactive way to let loose and giggle while going through a basic yoga flow class. It’s NOT a serious practice and is truly ideal for new or first time yogis. I think of it as Yoga play time and so do the goats. So why not get outside in the country for a couple hours, unify your mind, body and breath with this 5000 year old practice while laughing and snuggling with adorable little baby goats??? This is an experience like no other. Combining the benefits of yoga with the calming and loving connection with goats will leave you feeling light, happy and wanting more. GOAT YOGA KATY is for everyone and we welcome all fitness levels. Goats are curious and are likely to sit on your mat, hop on your back and maybe even nibble your toes. Goats are NOT potty trained animals. This is great for groups and team building!!
