It's got nice food, they are new so they are getting used to the whole thing, so relax, enjoy the atmosphere. Good food, nice staff very helpful and accommodating.

This is the place to be in the summer, just 7 mins from the cottage. Great Guinness and if you want ceili/trad music just hang around there, meet the locals. they will teach you about the local language Gaelic, sheep and a bit of history too. Paraic, the proprietor, will also make tea and coffee for you.

Sightseeing
Most beautiful castle in the west of Ireland on the edge of Lough Corrib a must go to visit. Have a walk around the grounds and you can play golf there too enquiries at the castle. So much to see around here.

If you love Irish history you have to visit this beautiful Castle, once owned by Mitchell Henry as a holiday home, he did most of the original work way back long before we were born but then the Benidictin nuns took it over and ran it as a private boarding school for girls. It also has a beautiful Victorian walled garden. Has a great cafe and shop also now. I love this place ❤️

Fantastic experience out on Lough Corrib, a family run business, fun and good craic on the boat, might even be music the day ye go on it. Great scenery.

This is just beside you, go and learn how wool is created and Carina has brought back the old tradition of carding and spinning the wool from the sheep you see outside the door at the cottage. A very interesting talent. A must visit.

Again, just a few minutes from the cottage, go watch Joe at work with his sheepdogs and see how important a good dog is when your a sheep farmer. And have a coffee while there from his Bosca Café on sight.
