Best sammies in Denver, hands down. It's essentially a "pot themed" Subway.
They have bread made especially for them, the highest quality meats and cheeses. We recommend the "5-0", it's "all pig", have it made their way, with chipotle mayo and giardianara peppers. We've recommended this to hundreds of guests and most who go, will go back at least once during their stay, it's that good!

Their food is exceptional, and it's one of the places that I think everyone should visit while in Denver. They are open very late, and my husband Jim likes to say that they put alcohol in milkshakes :)
Our favorite coffee shop in Denver. You'll feel like a local here, it has two outdoor areas. Eclectic vibe, but down to earth. Great baked goods, from coconut croissants to great sandwiches. They have a special frozen coffee that is exceptional. Dog friendly in the outdoor areas. Open early until incredibly late - you can even get alcohol here, as they can get it from the Thin Man bar, next door. Exceptional people, great service.

Great baked goods, from coconut croissants to great sandwiches. They have a special frozen coffee that is exceptional. Dog friendly in the outdoor areas. Open early until incredibly late - you can even get alcohol here, as they can get it from the Thin Man bar, next door. Exceptional people, great service.

We've gone back and each time asked for more recommendations. Their Puerco Colorado (pork cooked in red chilis) is succulent and incredible, but the most mouthwatering item on the menu is their mocajete - it's served in a bubbling cauldron. a fragrant, deeply flavored broth that words cannot do justice comes out with shrimp and beef and chicken with vegetables and large chunks of cheese - incredible!

Known for their "after" parties for the touring bands that come through all of the major venues, from Red Rocks, to the Ogden, Fillmore, Blue Bird, etc, those bands, come here after their shows for late parties. They also have great music for their evening shows. Can get rowdy and a little out of hand, so keep that in mind!
