Parks & Nature
Extinct volcano now a beautiful park in the heart of the city....easy walk around the road will give fantastic views of all of the city. For a more challenging walk there is a trail up to the top which is often busy when the weather is nice. Not recommended to go up there when the weather is very windy! Lots of space for sporting activities.

Edinburgh's very own beach. Very busy on sunny days! Easy walk along the promenade which is a nice experience in all weathers.

A short walk from my place is a park ideal space for anyone wishing to exercise whilst in holiday! There is also a substantial cycle path network in Edinburgh which can be accessed nearby and traverses all areas of the city.

Castle at one end, Palace and Parliament at the other....enough said I think! Extremely busy at the castle end during the summer, particularly August when all the main festivals are on and street performers are abundant!
