Day trip (booking essential) to Moreton Island is recommended if in Brisbane for a few days. You can dive, snorkel and feed dolphins. There is a resort on the island which often allows day trippers to use their facilities. Sand tobogganing is a popular activity but probably requires booking via a tour company.
