Municipal Fish Market at The Wharf

We had a hard time rating the Wharf for food or sight seeing - in all honesty, it is equally as exciting in both areas! Wharf brings dazzling water views, hot new restaurants, year-round entertainment, and waterside style all together in one inspiring location. Take a stroll along the water, swing in one of the Wharf's oversized bench swings, play large board games on the water, or visit the largest fresh seafood market in the District.

We had a hard time rating the Wharf for food or sight seeing - in all honesty, it is equally as exciting in both areas! Milk Bar Mini: Wharf

If you have seen Chef's Table: Episode 1, you may have seen chef and mastermind Christina Tosi. Head over to Milk Bar at the Wharf (also located in Logan Circle), for some of Christina's drool worthy icecream and desserts. Our favorites cereal milk icecream and her famous compost cookie. But honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you pick!

Lapis quickly won our hearts becoming an alltime favorite and guest pleaser. This Afghani Bistro offers a range of flavorful dishes and shareable plates (reasonably priced too!). "At Lapis, you will enjoy homemade afghan recipes prepared by our most prized culinary asset—our madar (aka mom). after years of enjoying these wonderful dishes as a family, we decided it was time to share them with the city we love and call home. We strive to make Lapis one of the best ethnic restaurants in DC"
