This area is well known for FOOD! Amazing restaurants line up and down 14th street. My recommendations to check out : Le Diplomat, Compass Rose, Barcelona, Lupo Verde, RICE and Maydan who just received a michelin star!

One of my all time favorite places for spanish tapas! If you are solo you can enjoy the bar scene or make a reservation. I promise it will be paella you will dream of for days:)

Very good for breakfast! They make this amazing London Fog Latte. They also have this smoked meat breakfast sandwich. A must try if you are in town and looking to try something new.

You can walk the waterfront, see live music, go on a kayak. New development next to the old fishermans market. A must see you can walk from the National Mall, it's fairly close.
