Since April 4th 2024, Christania has shut down it's "greenlight district", but is still very much worth a visit.

Since April 4th 2024, Christania has shut down it's "greenlight district", but is still very much worth a visit.
The place where the queen spends her time in the winter months. It's possible to book tickets for a tour if you want to go inside the castle. Great place to see the queens guards, you know, the one's with the hats.
I recommend also visiting "Frederiks Kirke" and "Amaliehaven" when there, as it's located quite close to each other.

A citadel built in 1624 by Christian IV. It houses a lot of history and is today used as military barracks. I recommend seeing "The little mermaid" and "St. Alban's Church" when visiting.

Here you have the opportunity to pet cows and goats if you dare, and see birds as it also consists of a bird sanctuary.
It also offers shelters where you can sleep, just don't forget to bring a sleeping bag.
To go there, simply take the metro to "Vestamager".
