1014 Miami Springs DrNew Smyrna Beach is my favorite beach in the area. New Smyrna is a small beach town with a vibrant downtown area with cute little shops. 
Driving is still allowed on a portion of the beach, so it makes going to the beach easy. There is a fee to drive on the beach.

New Smyrna Beach
North Atlantic AvenueNew Smyrna Beach is my favorite beach in the area. New Smyrna is a small beach town with a vibrant downtown area with cute little shops.

Cape Canaveral has lots to see and experience. Playa Linda beach is one of the most pristine beaches left in Florida.  There is no driving on the beach here, it has big beautiful dunes that are a bit of a hike... I recommend to limit how much beach gear you take care.
If you’re a beach bum like me it’s worth the effort once you climb up over the dunes you’ll see the beautiful ocean down below. It tends to be less crowded than the other beaches.

Awesome historical site! Nice museum. It’s quite a hike up to the top but the views are amazing and great photo opportunities. The beach next door is dog friendly!!

Keep in mind it doesn’t run late into the evenings and on weekends check the schedule before you make a commitment to traveling via train. Great for going downtown Orlando on weekdays.
