Friday lunches here are a New Orleans tradition. Like a lot of things in New Orleans, it's not the easiest. They don't take reservations and coats are required. It's worth the wait in line if you want a very long, boisterous (bordering on raucous) lunch filled with seafood and steak.

One of the best views in the city. You can actually take some wine or beer (just be mindful of the glass) and watch the ships go by. It's a must on a pretty day. Just take the stairs over the flood wall and you'll be in one of New Orleans newest parks.

Enjoy Bourbon Street, just not the two blocks right of Canal Street. If you see the Krystal's just keep moving. There are a lot of unfortunate incidents that have been happening in this vicinity.
