Nature

Beautiful nature spot if you’re looking to get out of the concrete jungle for a little bit.
Really beautiful nature parkway only a short bike ride from the city! The drive winds up through the woods following the Schuylkill river. And once you’re a mile or so out of the city it quickly gets more wooded and offers a nice reprieve from the city.

A little farther from the city but even more into nature if you’re looking to make the trek. Can take a number of public transportation to get there, but quickly falls into a pedestrian only trail which goes for miles along the water.

Neighborhoods

Great food! Top recommendations are the Nan zhou Hans pulled noodles on race street with the blue sign, and dim sum garden right next door. Dim sum garden normally has a bit of a line, but if you’re willing to wait, their soup dumplings are some of the best in the city.

Activity

Fun place or something to do in the city.
Great climbing gym! Good stop if you’re into bouldering or rock climbing. It has a variety of routes and really nice facilities. Great place to visit and get a day pass if you’re interested in rock climbing, or just starting out and want to check out the scene in Philly.

周邊交通資訊

Using SEPTA the city’s transportation authority

SEPTA (South Eastern PA transit Authority) manages all the trains, busses, and trolleys for the city. Busses are frequent enough during the day for $2.75, although be warned they only take exact fare. Trolleys/subways are more straightforward but go fewer places. If you’re looking to get a transportation pass the entire city is within zone 0, and you should be able to get passes online if you just search for SEPTA!

Indego bike share

Indego is the city bike sharing infrastructure. To get access all you need is to download an app and get a pass. Bikes have to be returned to stations, however most places within the city have a bike station with a blocks radius. Biking is probably the fastest way to get around the city so I would recommend trying it out if your visiting during a time warm enough to do so!
