Plettenberg Bay, nicknamed Plet or Plett, is the primary town of the Bitou Local Municipality in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. It was originally named Bahia Formosa by early Portuguese explorers and lies on South Africa's Garden Route 210 km from Port Elizabeth and about 600 km from Cape Town.
It has beautiful blue flag beaches, surrounded by the Tsitsikamma mountains and natures reserves. With excellent golf courses and award winning farms on your doorstep.

Birds of Eden's unique two hectare dome (the world’s largest) spans over a gorge of indigenous forest. Currently it is home to over 3,500 birds from over 220 species, with the main focus being African birds. Visits to Birds of Eden are usually self-guided, however guided walks are offered on request.

In an article on Pinnacle Point, Terry McLean, then Editor of Golf Digest said, “But the course that impressed us most on the Garden Route was Goose Valley!” John Botha from Compleat Golfer also wrote an article where he wrote, “ Goose Valley is quite simply the best value for money golf course anywhere!”
