Lookout on the Pier

Special mention to this place around the corner in ramshill. Fantastic Home baking and lovely breads. Try the home made sausage rolls!

Sightseeing
We are located a short walk from the Cleveland way.
You can turn right for a 7 mile walk to Filey and catch the bus back. Don't miss Cornelian bay and Cayton bay en route.
Turn left and head north towards Whitby. Catch the bus back from along the route or do a circular walk back down the old Scarborough Whitby railway line.
Hayburn Wyke, Robin Hoods Bay and Boggle hole to name a few great places.

We are located a short walk from the Cleveland way.

It's a nice short walk to the top of Olivers mount so it could be done in the evening. There's a cafe near the monument which is nice to visit. Fantastic views of Scarborough from the top.

Whitby
Lovely old fishing port. Nice for a wander round and try the fish and chips.
Sandside and the harbour area have lot's of places to eat and drink outside when the weather is nice. The Harbour Bar is one of our favourites to stop and have an ice cream. Try a breakfast in the Lookout on the West Pier. See if you can find it :)

Lovely long, quiet beach. Great for surfing, paddle boarding or just watching the world go by. Try to find the path down through the woods from the top of Osgodby. It's steep but very pretty.

Filey is a small, quiet scenic place to visit. It’s a great walk down the Cleveland Way about 6 miles and take the bus back. Great da out.
