Unfortunately, if you want the Tuk Tuk experience, you need to negotiate. Tuk Tuk drivers are master at ripping off tourists. (You may pay thb 300 when a taxi meter would show 60). Don’t accept free Tuk Tuk drives either as you will end up at a club or a tailor that pays the driver.
