This is a great local spot we visit regularly in summer for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. The Cable Bay Walkway links Cable Bay to The Glen and is a great half day hike with native bush and great views of the Tasman Bay. A good level of fitness required.

A little more than a day trip to visit Golden Bay with lots to see and do once you get there. From Farewell Spit to Tata Beach and beyond. Our favorite haunts are Wharariki Beach, the Mussel Inn and Pupu Springs.
