Kyrenia (Girne) harbour is very historic and beautiful, packed with a wide variety of bars and restaurants. i recommend you take a walk in the tiny back streets behind the harbour.

The local beer is Efes.

Car hire is reasonable. you will need your driving licence.
Small buses are frequent running from Lapta to Kyrenia(Girne). Taxis are cheap and reliable.
