Palmilla is a gated golf course community with 24/7 security. The villa is located on the 7th hole of the Jack Nicklaus golf course and a short walk to Golf and Tennis. Both require a reservation and are an additional fee.
The villa is within walking distance, or a 2 minute drive, to one of the only swimmable beaches in Cabo, the world class One and Only Palmilla hotel, and the Palmilla Shoppes - home to a juice bar, coffee shop, restaurants, shopping and gourmet grocery store.
For more entertainment we are only 10 min from San Jose Historical Center and 20 min to Cabo San Lucas Marina.

Downtown San Jose del Cabo is a historic center with a traditional Mexican square. There are restaurants, ice cream shops, art galleries, and local shops in this small town. Only a 10 minute drive from the villa you can spend an afternoon or evening meandering through the streets.

Tap water in Mexico is not safe to drink.
There is potable water in the pantry in the large Poland Spring water cooler size containers - called "garafons". You can also purchase bottled water at the Grocery store. If you are running low on garafon water please let Ana or myself know as they are refilled in town.

Renting a car is highly recommended
It is highly recommended that you rent a car at the airport. While there is UBER in Cabo it is not as readily available as in the US and can only pick up outside the security gates (a 1 KM walk from the villa). Taxis are expensive and charge per person.

Mexico is Kid-Friendly
Kids are welcome pretty much anywhere in Cabo and Mexico in general. Almost every restaurant will have a high chair or two available.
