It is often easier, cheaper and weather driving safer to use a taxi service then a hire car. We are outside of town - but it is a small town. Most places are only 10 - 17 kms from the cottage almost in a straight line. Besides, the grownups can have a Santa toddy without worrying about driving while influenced.
