"Bar Next Door" make decent cocktails, great place for a post-dinner cocktail if you're dining at Alabama Social. (same owners - hence the name)
They make a good espresso-martini, even though it's not on the menu.

Great place to sit outside in the sun and enjoy the view and something to drink/eat! In the summertime they make a killer homemade iced tea. Their vegetarian burger is one of the best I've ever had.

I really like this southern-state-inspired restaurant. Try their spareribs and californian zinfandel (either one!). And if you're in a festive mood, you can continue to their bar right next door (with the name "Bar Next Door")

I tried it once, and the starters themselves were an experience: small Thai street-food inspired dishes, served in the lounge by Henrik Yde Andersen, the owner of the restaurant, himself.

The food is excellent, and the best part: they have a fullsize wine menu, where every wine can be ordered by glass! I can recommend the Californian Zinfandel, Prohibition.

Union started out as a bar, which unfortunately is closed now. Their kitchen make great meatballs of many different kinds, and (luckily) they still have great cocktails.

Visit either of Laundromat's cafés for a cozy atmosphere, great brunch and good coffee. As the name implies, you can do your laundry here too. :-)
They won the award for city's best brunch twice, and have won for city's best burger once too.

For a more budget-friendly experience of the Danish kitchen, I can recommend Restaurant Søpromenaden. I've only ever had their lunch (Smørrebrød / the traditional open faced rye bread sandwiches), but it was very tasty. They serve dinner too.
