Nestled in a wooded valley with parkland, lakes and pastures, Woodchester Park surrounds an unfinished Victorian mansion. A beautiful spot for a picnic and walk. This is a National Trust property just remember some change as parking is pay and display.

Robert Stayner Holford (1808- 1892), a prodigious and cultured Victorian millionaire, employed Louis Vulliamy to design and build this grand country house at Westonbirt in the later half of the ninteenth century. This flamboyant and extraordinary architecture is breathtaking. Please see website for opening times.

Great Independent Cafe for breakfast Pancakes and Coffee. It is quite small and can get busy at peak times, but well worth it. They also do salad boxes to go which are delicious.

The Herbert Brothers as seen on TV have expanded and now have a Bakery in Malmesbury High Street. They bake gorgeous Bread and Pastries and there are sister shops in Tetbury and Nailsworth has an upstairs cafe. Amazing cakes and bakes a real treat!!

Great Pizza and they do takeaway!!! On Sunday's it's buy one half price, but do order early as it's very popular!!!
