Elkin is a great family-oriented little town with a local recreational center, park and hiking trail. Main street in down town includes unique restaurants, a bakery and antique shops. Lunch options in Elkin are plentiful- from McDonalds, Cookout, Subway, Chick-fil-A to a few local favorites like La Fuente, Mazzini's, and Southern on Main. Of course we have a local Walmart and Food Lion for any forgotten toiletries or grocery items.
