When you come to the city centre it is almost mandatory to walk in "fargegata" and visit one of the many pubs or cafes. Lots of colors and cultural vibes :)

When you come to the city centre it is almost mandatory to walk in "fargegata" and visit one of the many pubs or cafes. Lots of colors and cultural vibes :)
Beautiful hiking area. You can walk around Big Stokkavann (aprox 10km from start to finish at our house) or around the Little Stokkavann (aprox 4-5km from start to finish) or why not walk/jog/bike around them both. Beautiful scenery by the lakes, lots of paths to follow but easy to navigate. You can lunch, feed the ducks or even take a swim in the water.

In Sølvberget you can go and read a newspaper at the library, buy some delicious food or even go to the cinema. We often grab a bite here or at "Kanelsnurren" and let the kids run around both inside and outside.
