This ropes course was a lot of fun for me and my elementary-school age daughters. It has an ingenious fall-protection system that lets you hook in once and stay hooked in and protected no matter where you go on the course. Only $11 a person!

Shenandoah River Outfitters, just north of Luray, offers canoeing, kayaking, rafting and tubing. Fishing Licenses can be purchased online http://www.gooutdoorsvirginia.gov/ or at WalMart in Luray.
