Longport beaches are the least busy on the island. If you want to get away from the crowds, head all the way down Atlantic Ave and check out the point. Park around 12th Ave and walk down to the jetty and beach there to see the inlet. Super peaceful.

Great day trip would be to leave in the morning, head to the Cape May zoo, then down to the Cape May Lighthouse and after into Cape May town near The Colony Hotel.
