Open May through September. Lakeside is one of the few remaining family operated amusement parks in the country. It comes alive at night when the neon lights go on (and its rough edges are a little more hidden). Cool architecture. Very affordable (about a 1/3 of the price of Elitches), and you can bring your own food inside. People's reactions are split about Lakeside: you might think it's run down, or you might think it's charming and enchanting!
