Waiola Shave Ice is a local place to get good shaved ice. They do it all perfectly, from the ice to the range of syrups. Try it topped with a snowcap (condensed milk) or lilikoi cream (more like a thick lilikoi syrup).
Great tasting Greek food. One of our regular places. They even do take out. Great lamb souvlaki & baklava! Take out only. Egg and lemon soup is real good too. Take cash only.

Its not huge, but if you want to escape the sun for a couple of hours, this is a great place to enjoy the underwater creatures that surrounds Hawaii. Fantastic corals, sea horses, and jellyfish.

We love Lanikai beach. but better on a weekday if you go early. Parking tough since in residential area. Try to park around Kuailima drive and walk between houses to beach. Kailua beach is nearby and has restrooms. Lanikai doesn’t.
