This is consistently the best Italian restaurant in San Diego, a really nice walk (just under a mile) from the house. They don't take reservations, but it is so worth it to put your name on the list and then walk across the street for a cocktail at Kindred.

Great vegan restaurant and bar in the neighborhood! Creative vegan food and the best cocktails. Try the popcorn and the skewers appetizers! A really beautiful and unique bar, a bit of a low-key but hip scene at night. A nice (just under 1 mile) walk from the house.
