The food is good - mix of Mediterranean and British - there's a good selection of ales and wines and there's a log fire too for those cold winter evenings. Dog friendly in bar area where you can also eat. There is a restaurant too. Good for veggies.

We love this place as it's one of the few restaurants where you can sit outside by the river. Great Greek tapas, outside seating with heaters and blankets and great atmosphere in arched dining areas. If you stay long enough, one area turns into a dance floor / club. Opa!

Hidden away under Chapel Arts music venue (old converted chapel of course), this vegan cafe is run by the same people that set-up Beyond the Kale. The menus are slightly different but there's more space to sit here. Coffee and cakes are good too. (Also dog friendly!)

There's been a pub on this site since the 1650s - originally called The Three Tuns (apparently Nelson stayed there). There's also a Roman mosaic in the basement, although sadly not visible to visitors.

Try the Bath Abbey tower tour - great views of the city, including the roof top pool of Thermae Bath Spa. The guided tour takes about 45 - 50 minutes and you get to see the bells and clock. There are 212 steps to the top of the tower arranged in two spiral staircases with an opportunity to rest in between.
