This 16', 7-ton bronze sculpture of Lenin is the only representation of him surrounded by guns & flames instead of holding a book or waving his hat. It was found toppled in Slovakia and brought here.

We love our big troll under the Aurora bridge, just down the hill from us. Be sure to climb up on him for a photo and then look for the billy goats a block down from him. :-)

A real 1950s, Cold-War era rocket that somebody stuck on top of a shop. It bears the Fremont crest and motto, “De Libertas Quirkas,” meaning “Freedom to be Peculiar.” Sometimes it lights up & smokes.

A lovely, flat, nicely paved, 3-mile path rings the lake for your walking/biking/skating pleasure. And there are lots of places to stop en route for food and drink, too.

Gorgeous view of the city across Lake Union from an unusual setting (a reclaimed gas works). Lots of people fly kites from the hill in the middle of the park. Fun to watch the boats and float planes.
