Navy Pier is THE tourist location in Chicago. The views of Lake Michigan and downtown are spectacular, especially from the top of the Ferris Wheel, which is a must if you are visiting the Pier.

Merchandise Mart
The massive Merchandise Mart is so large that it has its very own zip code.
The views are amazing and I was even able to brave my fear of heights to go out on the ledge.
