Easy hiking trail on the hill Sovič above Postojna, where can you see the entire city.
Nanos is a karst limestone plateau just 12 km from Postojna. The highest pick is 1313m called Suhi vrh, but more visited and known is 1268m pick Plesa with the Vojko Lodge and transmitter. From the top there is a wonderful view of the Gulf of Trieste, Kras, Slovenian Istria, Vipava valley etc. Marked trails lead from Razdrto village just 12 km from Postojna. It is also accessible by car or bicycle.
