One block from our apartment, Fort Greene Park is an iconic location in the neighborhood with beautiful lawns, playgrounds, basketball and tennis courts. On Sundays, the farmers market is set up along the east perimeter of the park offering wonderful local produce, cheeses, breads, meats, etc.

Large park designed by the same person who designed central Park in Manhattan. This park has a lot of open space, a running/bike path, playgrounds, live music venues, food carts, etc. It is easily accessed by many trains and buses.
