Also, new this year is a small bar! Excellent food and amazing views while eating! If you like seafood and laid back atmosphere, try Monahan's! About 20 min drive from our home.

Beautiful oceanside walk located in Newport, Rhode Island. The trail winds down a path that has the ocean on one side, and the famous Newport Mansions bordering on the other side. Parking is free (if you can find a spot in summer!) and there is no fee for the Cliff Walk. The path includes stairs, and even walking over rocks if you continue on to almost the end. End your walk by visiting one of the fun restaurants located in Newport!

To reach Block Island from our home, it is approximately a 15 minute drive to ferry located in Pt. Judith. You can park you car for $10 per day. Ferry tickets can be purchased online. High Speed ferry is about 30 minute ride, regular ferry ride is approximately 1 hour. island. Multiple restaurants, hiking, beach and breathtaking views. To get around the island, you will need to rent mopeds, bikes, or car rentals are available (reserve ahead of time.) Lovely island to explore nature in a quiet relaxed setting. Very little commercial places on the island, but that is what makes it so special!
