Drinks & Nightlife
Located in the middle of the forest, around 10 km from the house, this is a traditional folkpark, open only in summertime, and hosting the most popular swedish dance bands (old school dancing, like bugg or foxtrot). There is also a dancefloor with dj and a trubadour department one floor up. They serve beer, wine, cocktails, but we recommend you to eat before going there. The place is very rustic and rough. Age limit 20 or older.

The famous artist John Bauer, with his century-old paintings of trolls and elfs from the swedish folklore, has inspired many fantasy sagas, not least the elven kingdom within the Lord of the ring. He used to live outside Jonkoping, and his paintings of supernatural creatures in the old Swedish forests are truly captivating.

Entertainment & Activities
36 fantastic holes at one of the best golf courses in Sweden. The scenery with views over lake Hammarsjön is great. Very large and nice greens at this well maintained golf course. Spend easily two days here if you like. There is a restaurant and a golf store at the club house.

Great place to go in both summer and winter. Summertime you can walk to the top of this 300m high mountain, situated in the middle of a nature reserve. Then check out the moose park, high-level adventure trail, or the many hiking and MTB trails.
In wintertime you can rent skis or snowboard and make use of their 10 pists and 6 lifts. There is a restaurant called Höganloft, which occasionally also arranges After Ski with live music, food and drinks.
They also have an information desk to help you find lots of tourist destinations in the area.

We recommend you to go by car.
