In the building complex, just outside the front gate there is a nice cozy place called Vinohradský pivovar. It is a brewery that makes delicious Czech beer in the traditional way and is very good for refreshment before or after going to the city center. It is also a great place for lunch since they make good Czech food for reasonable price.

With its great location just on the Náměstí Míru, where the subway station is, and cheap meals during lunch time, it is always a safe bet to go there and have a nice glass of Czech beer and good food. It is also fitted with garden so you can enjoy fresh air during hot summer days.
