Get there early in the morning, feed the birds, walk through the rain forest and eat overlooking the mountains. Great day trip but there are some winding roads and it will take the good part of a day.

Easy forest walk. No swimming at Natural Bridge. See the glowworms if you are there at night.
Better walks nearby and natural swimming holes (as long as you don't mind swimming with a few eels). Ask and we will tell you where. Moderate to Hard walk about 12km round trip (steep).

Pretend beach in the city. Kids will love it and besides the crowds its still a great place to spend the day. Friday night markets some of the year. Close to the museum and performing arts centre. Also a movie theatre nearby.

Myer, Kmart, Big W, Woolworths, Coles, variety shops of all kinds. Also lots of bigger shops just across the road. Restaurants open outside of normal shopping hours and movies as well (not so good on price and assigned seating).
