Sightseeing
Dokk1 is one of my favourite places in Aarhus. The building hosts a library, but not your everyday library. It's still relatively new and very interesting from an architectonic perspective. You can go there to browse through and read books, but people also just come to the library to hang out or play. There are a lot of play possibilities for kids, indoors and outdoors. And if you feel like playing air hockey or Street Fighter, it is the place to go :)

2 Hack Kampmanns Pl.Dokk1 is one of my favourite places in Aarhus. The building hosts a library, but not your everyday library. It's still relatively new and very interesting from an architectonic perspective. You can go there to browse through and read books, but people also just come to the library to hang out or play. There are a lot of play possibilities for kids, indoors and outdoors. And if you feel like playing air hockey or Street Fighter, it is the place to go :)
Godsbanen is an old freight station that has been repurposed to a cultural center. You can do workshops there and every now and then they organise markets and other activities.

Skanseparken is really just a small park right around the corner. But when the weather is good, it's a nice place to sit and have a picnic or ice cream.

If you like to go for a relaxing walk in between deer in a nice, hilly forest area, you should go to the Marselisborg Dyrehave! The walk there from our house along the coast is also very enjoyable.

You should probably check their Facebook page to see if something's going on there. But the Dome of Visions is a temporary building where they organise activities like yoga sessions, but also concerts. It's a nice place to hang out and has an awesome view.

Jægergårdsgade is a good street to go to for drinks and dinner. It's not a party street, but rather a cosy one with cute, small Danish buildings and various options for food and drinks. It's also a good place to go look for breakfast and brunch.

Great museum about the history of Denmark often brought in a fun and interactive way. It's definitely not a boring history museum! Also, it has interesting architecture and is located near the coast - so it has a great view.
I would advise taking a walk through the surrounding forest and beach area after your museum visit.
