Food Scene
We have no shame. We own this restaurant and we’ve been open for over ten years. If the fried Southern charm has worn off, Kayak serves some great healthy eats. Great tacos (seriously), big salads, Panini, great cocktails… it’s worth a try, even if we weren’t so biased about it! We’re also smack dab Downtown in the Shopping District and have some great outdoor tables for people watching. Check us out and tell us what you think!

Same great menu, plus excellent specials like Wild Salmon Tacos and a Weekend Brunch All Natural Short Rib Hash that’s to die for.
Best late-night greasy spoon in the Downtown area, hands down. AND THEY DELIVER…LATE. Great burgers, wings, nachos, all of the bad stuff that tastes SO good!

One of our fav’s and super close to the Condo. It’s casual, yet fancy enough, without the unnecessarily high bill at the end of the meal. Great Bourbons, great cocktails, great specials, great everything. Given that it’s a three minute Uber from the Condo, It’s hard to find a reason not to go here! If possible, make reservations, but walk-in’s okay too.

CBP has been serving great comfort food in Savannah since 1933. The atmosphere is great, the food & service always deliver and Ben the bar manager always keeps an amazing rotation of great beers on their 20+ taps. It can get packed, but well worth the wait.

A great new neighborhood restaurant with excellent food, awesome outdoor space and some fantastic cocktails. Definitely a new favorite of ours and judging by how busy it is every time we go, we think everyone else in Savannah agrees! They don’t take reservations but the wait is usually respectable and the service superb.

Atlantic - a neighborhood eatery

1110 Bull StCloser to the Condo, Local is a restaurant that’s tenure here for almost 10 years sometimes keeps it in the shadows of the newer scene- but they still deliver a great product. Perch, their rooftop bar, is also an excellent choice for relaxing with a cocktail under the Live Oak trees just off of Forsyth Park.
It may be hard to find (not with an Uber) but we think it’s worth it. The Wyld Dock sits on a beautiful creek in the middle of Savannah, far from the Trolleys and horses of Downtown, and serves truly great food with a great cocktail menu to boot. We all wish we could be the people you see arriving by boat (oh, and they do) but just being there is enough to know you’re officially in the Low Country!

What can I say? I grew up here. Understandably, some call it the Redneck Riviera. I get it. But if you look beyond the sometimes undesirable people that flock here every summer, you will see beautiful beaches and uninhabited islands in the distance.

AND THEY MAKE EXCELLENT SANDWICHES!!! If you wanted to stock up for the ultimate picnic or have a beach day in style, these guys can make it happen. And you can definitely call ahead to order if time is of the essence.
