Breathtakingly beautiful Hindu temple which looks as if it belongs to a city in India, but instead has been placed in the centre of concrete, residential, grey London. Single 20 min bus ride from my flat, and the contrast it makes with urban London is too startling to miss.

Some people gush over the treasures. Some people loathe the British colonial history which pillaged those treasures. I just love the building. The atrium alone, is worth the effort to go see. You will spend all day, and still that will not be enough.
