Take the Ferry over to Southport, NC. You can take your car or park and go as a passenger only. My grandson fondly calls this going on the "cherry"!

This awesome little gem is literally across the street from Sea the Lake!!! Go for a morning stroll/run. Head over for shopping at the market on Saturday morning. Enjoy movies in the park on Sunday evenings all summer.

Head up to the North End and try your hand at pier fishing. Summertime catches include flounder, bluefish, Spanish mackerel, mullets, and lots of sheapshead - a smaller but exceptionally tasty fish that is especially popular in the months of June, July and August. There is also a small restaurant and tackle/bait shop on the premises!

Take a long, leisurely walk on the beach from the condo to the Tiki Bar and then stop in for a refreshing adult beverage and a snack before heading back. Facing the ocean, look to your right -- that pier you see with the little green building -- that's where you're headed.
You could also have lunch or dinner at the Ocean Grill, but you may want to clean up and drive there for that.

You could also have lunch or dinner at the Ocean Grill, but you may want to clean up and drive there for that.
