Most people are familiar with Clearwater beach, but there are other beaches nearby that the locals prefer to get away from the traffic and large crowds.
Sunset Beach is a small private beach 20 minutes from the cottage. It’s perfect for those who want to get away from the large populated beaches. There is a kids park and picnic benches and bathroom facility. No charge to get in or park. No lifeguards on duty, but there are no waves the water is tranquil.

This beach is larger than Sunset beach. There is a state park with nature trails, playground, and picnic area for large groups, and a beautiful beach. There is a small parking fee.
