Some of our favourite things to do in and around St Andrews
A lovely country park that is free to enter and explore. There is a cafe, car park and children's play areas (some rides are ticketed)
This is also the location of the St Andrews Parkrun - every Saturday at 9.30am

West Sands beach is famous for being the beach used at the start of Chariots of Fire. It is over 2 miles long and is a beautiful place. Great for walking, running, exercising, sitting, etc :-)
Head up to the very top for a dune walk that goes along the top end of The Old Course

West Sands Beach

East Sands beach is much smaller than West Sands, but still lovely.
At the North end, you have St Andrews harbour and the pier, at the other you have the leisure centre/swimming pool and a path that becomes the Fife Coastal Path and is a great walk along cliffs and hidden beaches. In between you have a lovely beach which is safe for swimming and surfing.

Kingsbarns
Kingsbarns is a lovely little town with an absolutely beautiful beach
Elie
Elie is a beautiful little fishing village with some lovely beaches
