I just love walking south on Columbine Rd to the trailhead, then down Mountain View Drive to the creek. Lots of good people watching and just watching the ever-changing riverbed.

Just outside the house is a trailhead to take you up to the Mount Jumbo Saddle or down to the Rattlesnake Creek. In winter, you may want to pack some spiked shoes or boots for icy conditions.
