This is a favorite. All you can eat with an expansive menu. We eat here frequently and have for years. Quality you can depend upon and it's not too far.

We have several good Thai restaurants in Temecula. This one (in my humble opinion) has the best authentic Thai food in the area. I love their spicy basil friend rice.

They make their own pasta. You can get some killer Italian wine, such as Amarone (not everyone has this). It's small, but the food and service is always exquisite. If you're here on a weekend, make a reservation. They always turn people away.

Gourmet Italia is another restaurant with great food and atmosphere. I've never had a bad meal here. It's larger than Trattoria Toscana, but a reservation is a good idea on the weekends.

Old Town on the weekends is fun. Numerous great restaurants. Want a good steak? Gambling Cowboy. How about a great martini with a view (and music on the weekends)? That would be Lukes. One of my favorite restaurants Public House is there. Other favorites are Bailys for music and drinks. EAT is a great farm to table restaurant and Goat and Vine, another little not so hidden spot in Old Town.

It's right around the corner. This is the location of the balloon and wine festival held every year in June. Requires a mention because of what happens here. They do have campgrounds and fishing, but it is a water source and is not a water activity type of lake.
