Historical site about Irish immigrants escaping Ireland during the potatoe famine heading to Canada for a better life but due to horrific conditions on ships many contracted contagious diseases and were quarantined to this Island with many dying here. Great history, nice trails and beach.

Enjoy a horse and wagon ride as you step back in time to the 1820’s to visit the stone house of an early Scottish settler’s and get a taste of the life conditions for that period as you tour the house and observe the gardening practices and the family chores of caring for farm animals. Beautiful spot for a picnic lunch!

Over 15 km of cross country/snow shoeing trails with warming huts. Nice just to walk the trails as well. Or rent a fat bike and visit the sliding hill.
