The Oliver Mansion
It was over 100 years ago that 19th century industrialist J.D. Oliver, his wife, Anna, and their four children moved into their new home at 808 West Washington Street-Copshaholm as they would later name it. Built in 1895-1896, Copshaholm is a 38-room Romanesque Queen Anne house designed by New York architect Charles Alonzo Rich. The furnishings on all three floors are original, giving visitors a remarkable glimpse of how the mansion appeared during the 72 years the Oliver family lived there.

Neighborhoods
This is the neighborhood. It's moniker is correct, it's VERY wooded. Lots of really old, tall, magnificent trees.
Let me do a bit of explaining on the other choices, it's a great walk a bit of hills, fantastic scenery. For transit you'll have to go to a major cross street. It IS well lit at night but depending on where you are the trees block out the lights, I recommend a flashlight and reflective/bright clothing.

This is a Christmastime MUST see! The whole neighborhood decorates for Christmas. They've been doing this for years and are very organized. Easy to follow signs/arrows OR just follow the huge line of cars as you do a driving tour through the neighborhood.

If you go the speed limit you're going too slow. My advice is to go with the flow of traffic.

It's the Midwest.
Layers are the clothes to pack. Just like other places we go from cold in the morning to hot, possibly rain and then back to cold. Bring a jacket or something that can be taken on and off multiple times a day.
